How long does it take to get Microsoft Certified Professional?

A Indian girl age 9 got her Microsoft Certified Professional. What is pay salary range like from just that certification? You has to renew every few year right when new OS comes out?

1. There is no salary range for it. Any salary range given by Microsoft or the school you are taking the exam at is not even relevant. You can get MCP for many different certification exams. It's usually the first exam among a series of others (for example on the MCSE). You don't have to know anything to pass them, just memorize the exam question which you can download the internet. Hence that is why even a 9 year old can pass it. I actually don't think those exams are worth it. It's just a way for those companies to make money. I have a MCSD and never could get any job.
